XRP Stabilizes Near $1.25 as Traders Watch $1.20 Support and $1.35 Resistance

XRP rebounded to about $1.25 after briefly dipping near $1.20. For now, the move looks more like tentative stabilization than a confirmed trend reversal. The key levels for the November 2-8 window are support at $1.20 to $1.23 and resistance at $1.27 to $1.35.

  • Support: $1.20 to $1.23
  • First resistance: $1.27 to $1.30
  • Stronger resistance: $1.33 to $1.35
  • Momentum: Improving in the short term, but not confirmation of an uptrend

The price figures below are from an October 31 snapshot. The year and intraday timestamp are unspecified, so these figures should not be treated as live market data. The outlook is conditional, not a precise price prediction.

A rebound after a sharp selloff

XRP started October above $1.50, then posted a series of lower highs and fell toward $1.27. The late-month drop coincided with a Binance security breach and a broader crypto-market selloff. Heavy liquidations also took place, but the available figures do not show that the breach alone caused XRP’s decline.

XRP fell more than 7% during the steepest part of the move. Across the market, more than $1.5 billion in leveraged positions were liquidated. Liquidations occur when exchanges forcibly close leveraged trades because traders no longer have enough collateral. They can add to selling pressure during a downturn.

XRP reached approximately $1.1991 on October 30, then bounced back. By October 31, it was trading around $1.25 and had moved within a roughly $1.23 to $1.26 range. Selling pressure had eased, but that alone does not mean buyers are back in control.

The XRP price levels to watch

The $1.20 to $1.23 area is the immediate support zone. It is an approximate chart level based on the late-October low near $1.1991 and the range where XRP later stabilized. It is not a guaranteed floor. If the price returns to this area, the key question is whether it holds or breaks below the recent low.

The first resistance zone is $1.27 to $1.30. Reclaiming it would improve the short-term picture, but XRP would still face stronger resistance around $1.33 to $1.35, near the area it approached earlier in the selloff.

A sustained move above $1.35 would offer a more convincing sign that the price structure is improving. Until then, a rally could still be a relief bounce, a rebound after a steep decline, rather than the start of a lasting recovery.

Momentum has improved, but the signal is incomplete

The shortest-term Relative Strength Index (RSI), a momentum indicator, had recovered to about 57. Medium- and longer-term readings were around 47 and 45, though the specific chart timeframes were not stated. The gap suggests short-term momentum improved faster than the broader trend.

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), another trend and momentum indicator, had crossed above its signal line, and its histogram had turned positive. But the MACD line remained slightly below zero. These readings point to possible stabilization, not a confirmed reversal. Indicators describe recent price behavior. They cannot reliably predict what comes next.

Ripple’s business developments are not automatic XRP demand

Ripple is a company, while XRP is a separate cryptoasset. Growth in Ripple’s business may matter to its products and services, but it does not automatically create demand for XRP. Activity involving RLUSD or the XRP Ledger also does not, by itself, mean XRP’s price should rise.

On October 26, Ripple received final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Ripple National Trust Bank. Ripple says the entity is intended to support RLUSD reserves and provide fiduciary digital-asset custody services.

At Ripple Swell, BNY expanded its relationship with Ripple and added XRP and RLUSD support to its Digital Asset Custody platform. C2FO announced plans to move financing and settlement activity for its Instant Pay product onto the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD for settlement. C2FO says its existing programs have facilitated more than $520 billion in working capital. That figure refers to those programs, not activity already transferred to the XRP Ledger.

Ripple said it was approaching a $900 million annualized product revenue run rate and worked with more than 1, 700 institutions, corporations and enterprises across its products. A run rate projects the current pace over a year. It is not the same as audited annual revenue. Coinbase also expanded RLUSD support across its retail and institutional platforms, including on the XRP Ledger.

These developments may support Ripple’s business and the infrastructure around RLUSD and the XRP Ledger. They did not protect XRP from the late-October market selloff, and they do not answer whether demand for XRP itself will grow.

Key questions about XRP’s next move

  • Did XRP recover after reaching its selloff low?

Yes. It rebounded from approximately $1.199 to $1.1991 and later traded near $1.25, stabilizing around $1.23 to $1.26. If you need help assessing the price action, remember that a rebound alone does not confirm a reversal.

  • Which XRP price levels matter most?

Watch $1.20 to $1.23 for support, $1.27 to $1.30 for initial resistance, and $1.33 to $1.35 for a stronger hurdle.

  • Do the technical indicators confirm a new uptrend?

No. They point to improving short-term momentum and possible stabilization, but they do not confirm a sustained reversal.

  • Did Ripple’s announcements prevent XRP’s decline?

No. XRP fell during the broader market selloff despite the business and institutional developments.

  • Is there a specific price target for November 2-8?

No. The outlook is conditional: holding support and reclaiming resistance would strengthen the case for recovery, while a break below support would weaken it.

For the week ahead, the clearest signal would be XRP holding support and reclaiming resistance. A bounce alone is not enough.
