Paid-to-Click (PTC) is a new feature that lets advertisers drive real, guaranteed traffic to any website, and lets anyone earn ADBYTES tokens just by browsing the web. No website required.
Let's break down how it works.
For Advertisers: Get Real Eyes on Your Website
If you've ever wanted a dead-simple way to get people to actually visit your site, this is it.
Here's the deal: you submit a URL, set a budget, and real humans visit your page. No need to design a banner ad, no complicated campaign setup, no guessing if your creative is working. Your actual website does the talking.
How to set up a campaign:
- Head to Advertise > PTC Campaigns in your dashboard
- Drop in the URL you want traffic sent to
- Set how many visits you want and your bid per 1,000 visits (starting at just $1)
- Choose whether visitors can return daily or if you only want unique visits
- Submit for a quick review, and once approved you're live
Every visit is from a real, logged-in user who views your site for a set timer duration before they can move on. No bots, no fake clicks. You can monitor visits, daily breakdowns, and even see user feedback on your site in real time.
Want more visibility? Higher bids get priority placement in the rotation. You can also set daily visit caps to spread your budget over time, and pause or resume your campaign whenever you want.
You pay with your existing ad credit balance, which you can fund with ETH, USDT, or by redeeming your own ADBYTES tokens.
For Earners: No Website? No Problem.
Until now, the only way to earn ADBYTES was by running our ad code on your own website. That meant if you didn't have a site, you were locked out of earning almost entirely.
Not anymore.
With PTC, all you need is an Adbytes account. Log in, head to the Earn section, and start browsing advertiser websites. Each site you view has a short timer. Once it's up, claim your reward and move on to the next one. It's that simple.
What you'll earn:
Your first visit of the day pays 10 ADBYTES. Each visit after that pays a little less, stepping down gradually. By your 9th or 10th visit you'll be earning around 2 ADBYTES per view, and it stays there as a floor. This diminishing returns system keeps things fair for everyone and makes sure the reward pool lasts throughout the day.
The pool resets every day.
You're always in control:
- Not interested in a site? Hit the skip button and move to the next one
- Like what you see? Hit the thumbs up and it saves to your favorites
- Check your full earning history anytime from your dashboard
- Works great on mobile, tablet, or desktop
What can you do with ADBYTES?
Once you've built up a balance, you've got options. Hold your tokens and wait for the price to appreciate. Trade them on Uniswap (we're on Base). Or redeem them for ad credit and use that credit to run your own PTC campaigns or banner ads to promote whatever you want. It's a full loop.
Why This Matters for the Adbytes Ecosystem
PTC opens the door to a much larger audience. Before, you needed a website to participate. Now anyone can be part of the network as an earner, and any earner can become an advertiser.
For publishers who already run our banner ads: nothing changes for you. PTC is a completely separate earning channel that runs alongside everything you're already doing. Think of it as bonus earnings on top of your existing setup.
For advertisers, PTC is a new tool in your belt alongside banner campaigns. Some promotions work better with banners, others just need eyeballs on a page. Now you've got both options.
And for the ADBYTES token: more users earning means more people claiming on-chain, which means more holders and more organic distribution. Users who redeem tokens for ad credit create natural burn pressure. The flywheel gets stronger with every new participant.
