Florida ransomware negotiator sentenced to 70 months for aiding BlackCat extortion scheme
Florida ransomware negotiator Angelo Martino was sentenced to 70 months after DOJ said he helped BlackCat/ALPHV extort victims instead of protecting them. Authorities also seized more than $10 million in assets tied to the scheme, including crypto, vehicles, and other property.
