Balancer is moving toward an orderly shutdown after its November exploit shattered revenue, trust, and liquidity so badly that recovery no longer made economic sense. If BAL holders approve, the protocol will wind down slowly, preserve withdrawals, and return leftover treasury assets instead of bleeding out in denial.
