Payward to Acquire Saldo, Building a European Banking Base for Kraken’s Future Services
Payward’s planned acquisition of Saldo could give Kraken a foothold in European deposits, lending and payments. The deal is expected to close in 2027, but regulatory approval, integration and an undisclosed rollout timetable mean new services aren’t available to Kraken customers yet.
